After updating my HTPC / general use computer to 10.04, I noticed Filezilla crashing every time I tried to scroll or go into a remote folder.
After some research using Google, which resulted in nothing, I decided to look into this problem a little deeper. I started by looking through the logs which yielded nothing either. I removed Filezilla with and without purge(purge should delete all of the files used by Filezilla) this also didn’t fix my problem.
Next I deleted the ~/.filezilla folder, a hidden folder in my home directory also know as ~, this fixed the problem. If you would like to keep the folder then just rename the folder:
mv ~/.filezilla ~/filezilla_OLD
It was long overdue for both Marcy and I to get some ink done. The tattoo itself is the Zibu symbol for Friendship for those who don’t know Zibu is said to be the language of angels. Sort of heaven’s shorthand.
We decided to get this symbol together with Jody a very close friend of ours. Travis Popp is the artist he started working at Algood Ink Tattoo in Dixon, CA. this week. In-fact Jody was his first customer at Algood Ink.

Windows drivers are here
If you own the same laptop as I do, a Toshiba A205-S5825, then you probably have the same problem, if you are using Hardy or Gutsy with the newest Kernel(2.6.24-19-generic) or older, the wireless doesn’t work out of the box.
It cost me about an hour to solve this mainly because no one knew anything about this particular chipset.
So here is the solution for the AR242x. If you have a chipset in the A5700 series then this could work for you too.
The solution is quite simple and only takes you a couple of minutes to apply and then you can use your wireless.
For this How to you do need wired internet to the computer.
