Thinking Of A New Ultra Portable Purchase

I have been thinking lately it’s time to get something ultra portable.  What I’m looking for is something small and light, with enough beef to work on a remote location.  Even though I love my Toshiba, when trying to be mobile even a 15″ is too big and heavy to comfortably log around.

I have been working of my laptop for close to two years now, and besides the fact that a two year old machine is out of date, I want to be able to work anywhere.  Also the glare in the screen of this Toshiba really bothered me today when I was planing on working outside.  For the first time in years I have been looking for something else then Toshiba.  When looking at laptops to replace this one, the Lenovo line keeps popping up and I must say I love what I’m seeing there.  They are finally stepping away from that dreadful boxy look that we are used to from IBM Lenovo.  I have yet to actually put my hands on one but the design of the new Lenovo lines look really awesome.  Take the Lenovo  IdeaPad S10-3 for instance.  I love the way that keyboard looks.  But when reading Mark Shuttleworth Blog about gestures with multitouch in Ubuntu 10.10, I suddenly could also consider the IdeaPad S10-3t.  The S10-3t has you guessed it a touchscreen.  Lenovo calls it a tablet,  which you could call it even after Steve said a tabled is has no keyboard.

Back To Business As Usual

Dit Is Het Enigste Blog Nog In De Lucht

Je moet niet raar op kijken als je in de komende uren een Enge blog post voorbij ziet komen.  Dit is namelijk 1 van mijn blog die nog in de lucht is.  Naast bariatriclinks.com en hyves.madberry.org zijn nu madberry.org me.madberry.org beiden offline.

De error die wordt veroorzaakt is een Internal Server Error 500.  Het rare is dat de setup voor WordPress die ik gebruik is een Multiblog setup.  In het kort het is 1 WordPress installatie die all mijn blogs gebruiken alle blogs gebruiken dus dezelfde plugins.  Het rare is dat twee van mijn blogs down zijn en twee werken.  Ik heb pas deze week de verhuizing van al mijn blogs door gevoert naar Dreamhost en nu gebeurt dit.

Wow How Busy Can You Get

It’s been a while since my latest post here. But I have a good reason I’ve been very busy writing for Bright Hub and madberry.org as well as on of ours newest projects bariatriclinks.com.  When I have weeks of writing that much tehn it’s kinda overkill to also blog on this blog.

Good news though Marcy finally has her date she will be going under the knife on March second for Gastric Bypass Surger.

I’ve been ordered by the doctor to get of my laptop.  I’ve been fighting a cold that doesn’t seem to wanna go away.  She ordered rest and fluids.

Marcy heeft 20 Februari een afspraak met het hoofd van de afdeling Bariatrische Chirurgie.  Volgens de afsraak zuster moet iedereen die een maag verkleining ondergaat in UCD een gesprek hebben met hem.  We krijgen dan als alles goed is de officiële datum voor de operatie.
