Introduction

With Kubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 I hope what I always hope. For the AR242x to be included in the Kernel. Not that I don’t like the traffic the How to’s for this card bring this website. But I want to be able to advise everyone to use Kubuntu with out having to do extra manoeuvres to get the wireless to work.

But Why?

Beginners and newbies generally don’t want to muck around with Terminal to compile a Kernel module to get wireless to work. Or compile the beta version of Digikam 0.10 to get a Digikam version that works under KDE4.
