It’s been a while since my latest post here. But I have a good reason I’ve been very busy writing for Bright Hub and madberry.org as well as on of ours newest projects bariatriclinks.com. When I have weeks of writing that much tehn it’s kinda overkill to also blog on this blog.
Good news though Marcy finally has her date she will be going under the knife on March second for Gastric Bypass Surger.
I’ve been ordered by the doctor to get of my laptop. I’ve been fighting a cold that doesn’t seem to wanna go away. She ordered rest and fluids.
I reviewed the V10 CPU Cooler from Cooler Master for Bright Hub. The results where unexpected extreemly good. An improvement of 6C degrees less from the stock cooler.
The V10 CPU Cooler uses a Perltier element. An piece of electronics I’ve always thought could do a good job at cooling the CPU.
The only problem always has been the hot side of the Peltier. A Peltier element has a hot and a cold side. It therefore can be used to cool down or heat up. Cooler Master cleverly used the cold side for cooling down the CPU. The Hot side they use a radiator like design with heat pipes to dissipate the heat away from the element. The cool side is attached to heat pipes as well these heat pipes run over the CPU base and cool the CPU.
“Mini How To”: Fix Kopete Crashing On MSN Sign In
I have experienced some crashes with my Kopete lately. Every time MSN would try to sign in Kopete would crash. I searched around on the Internet. But couldn’t really find an answer.
So I’ll provide one for people having the same problems.
The solution is really quite simple just remove the configuration files. Here is the thing Kopete has those files in two places. Both located in the .kde/share/. Run the following commands in Terminal to remove the files.
This is a question I get a lot.
For instance:
Hey [mad]Berry,
I want to use a different browser besides Konqueror.
Are there many options?
Which browser do you recommend?
Which browsers do you use?Thanks,
X
That is how this article on Bright Hub came about. In the article I highlight some of the choices you have 10 to be exact. I also name my favorite even though I’m using my least favorite right now. Damn you Firefox with your handy addons.
