Adding Sources To Adept Easier Then You Think

If you have been using Linux for a while then you have come across packages you love using, but are not in the Ubuntu repositories.  Some packages have there own repositories.  These have to be added to the sources.list file of apt.

This new article on Bright Hub explains how to do this.  It is written for the “point and click” people who want to use Adept or Synaptic.  Even though the Terminal way is described as well,  it is more geared to the n00bs and beginners.

Ktorrent Could This Be The Best Torrent Client For Linux?

When I started using Ubuntu in the beginning of 2005 one of my criteria for being able to switch was a good working torrent client.  After testing several clients I decided on Ktorrent as my client.

The choice for Ktorrent was really not that hard looking at the great features that Ktorrent has.  Of which the bandwidth scheduler is probably the coolest.  This allows me to schedule the seeding part to the hours that the network is not being used.

Kerst 2008 Bij De Van Der Linden's

Het was weer jolly kerst 2008 geen Amerikaanse kerst dit keer met duizenden cadeautjes maar gewoon wat dingen die we echt graag wilde hebben.

Nieuwe Ontwerpen Voor Al Mijn Blogs

Sommige van jullie die ook mijn andere blogs volgen hebben het wel gezien.  Ik heb op al mijn blogs dat is:

• madberry.org
• me.madberry.org (mijn engelse persoonlijke blog)
• hyves.madberry.org

Het ziet er over het algemeen beter uit denk ik.  Madberry.org kan nog wel een beter design gebruiken.  Helaas is dit een heel erg laag budget website, de informatie is gratis en mensen doneren niet zoveel meer door de huidige economie.

Als je toevallig iemand weet die voor WordPress kan ontwerpen dan mag je me dat even laten weten ik kan niet veel betalen, maar misschien hebben ze portfolio werk nodig en kunnen ze het ontwerp daarvoor gebruiken.
